I am a trauma informed and queer affirmative licensed Clinical Psychologist with over five years of experience and extensive training in assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning and management of various mental health concerns. I have worked with over 300 clients to help them address and overcome concerns related to life transitions, trauma, anxiety and mood related disorders, eating disorders and body image related concerns. I have also worked extensively with other mental health service providers to support them in their personal and professional journeys.

 

I follow an integrated, eclectic approach to therapy, based on each client’s unique needs and uses approaches and interventions drawn from CBT, DBT, Narrative Practices, Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, among other evidence-based approaches.

 

I am passionate about providing my clients a safe space to be able to connect deeper with their emotions, their interpersonal relationships and most importantly, themselves. I view therapy as a collaborative space, where I strive to build agency and empower each client and build self compassion and resilience.

 

I have also worked as a neuropsychologist and researcher in the area of Alzheimer’s Disease and during this time has coordinated various research and outreach activities as well as conference presentations and paper publications.
