I Didn't Think My Dog Would Become This Important to Me
I’ve been dealing with anxiety and depression for a while, and there were times when I would completely shut myself off from everyone.
My dog was basically the one constant. He would sit with me when I was having a bad day, and honestly, having him around made things a little easier.
I eventually started thinking about getting an ESA letter because I was moving and wanted to understand whether I could keep him with me as an emotional support animal.
I had no idea where to start. I searched online, read a bunch of conflicting information, and eventually came across ESA Letter California.
I went through the evaluation and talked about what I had been experiencing. The whole thing made more sense once I actually understood what was involved instead of just reading random posts online.
I’m not saying my dog fixed everything. He didn’t. But having him around has been important for me, and getting the ESA side of things sorted out was something I’m glad I did.
