Can an Emotional Support Animal Help With Anxiety?
I’ve been reading more about how emotional support animals may help people who struggle with anxiety, stress, and other emotional challenges. Many people describe their ESA as a source of comfort, companionship, routine, and support during difficult periods. At the same time, there still seems to be a lot of confusion about how ESAs work and what the process looks like for someone considering one for anxiety. While looking into the topic, I happened to find My ESA Therapist and learned a little more about how ESA evaluations can involve a licensed mental health professional. That got me wondering about other people’s experiences. Has anyone here had an ESA for anxiety, and did having an animal around make a meaningful difference in your everyday life?
