Hi, I’m Kennedy Roks, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC). I earned my bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University where I studied Psychology and minored in Human Sexuality and Special Education. I earned my master’s degree from University of San Francisco in Counseling.

 

My approach to counseling is person-centered with hints of art therapy that allows individuals to express themselves beyond words. I have experience working with individuals as young as 2 years old up to the age of 73. I’ve supported clients in various setting who dealt with struggles like depression, anxiety, live transitions, stress, gender identity and sexuality. I use approaches that will tailor to my clients wants and needs as I believe therapy looks different for everyone.

 

I am committed to using my skills to help empower my clients to become who they want to be. Together we can go through the journey of healing, growth and endless possibilities.

Additionally, you should also be confident that you can support your clients and that the client has problems that you can help them cope with. Also, you can avoid any ethical difficult situations about charging a client for a session in which you choose not to proceed based on fit.
