I am Keneikhrienuo Junia Dzuvichu, holding a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and contributing to the Mental Health field for 11 years. My experience includes working with children, adolescents and adults through guidance, counseling, training, and curriculum development to integrate mental health education. I advocate for Person-Centered counseling, tailoring sessions to individual needs.
During my tenure at NIMHANS Bangalore, I conducted over 250 training sessions for 650 professionals from diverse backgrounds. I have actively participated in curriculum development for long-term mental health initiatives across 27 states in India. My work involves helping individuals with anxiety, depression, conduct disorders, substance abuse, trauma, identity issues, developmental delays, and learning disabilities.
I strongly emphasize the importance of mental health maintenance, believing that a healthy mind is vital for overall well-being and enables us to support others in achieving good mental health. Each of us has the potential to be mental health advocates in our own unique way.
