Emmanuel Mihigo, has completed a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and Therapeutics 2023, at the University of Rwanda, a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology obtained from UNIK in 2019 and an Advanced Diploma in Mental health Nursing obtained from Kigali Health Institute.With more than 15 years of experience, both in the clinic and in the community, this gives him multiple and varied experiences to be effective. He has worked in hospitals, in schools, in community mental health projects, and with refugees. He speaks French, English, Swahili, Kinyarwanda, languages commonly used in the Great Lakes region of East and Central Africa. Dedicated and highly experienced psychologist with a proven track record of providing compassionate and evidence-based mental health services. Possessing a deep understanding of various therapeutic modalities. I specialize in helping individuals navigate and overcome a wide range of psychological challenges. I have extensive experience working on trauma, adverse childhood events. The eclectic approach helps me to be able to give the best of myself without being too much a slave of any approach, which can be like constraint in providing holistic care. I am licensed Clinical Psychologist, member of Rwanda Psychological Society and Rwanda Allied Health Professions Council.
