Children Are Not Extensions of Parental Ego

Article | Child psychology

Your kids are not trophies to display for society’s approval. They are little humans—HUMANS—with emotions, limits, and their own identities, who deserve understanding, respect, and unconditional love.

And when I say unconditional, I mean allowing them to pursue what truly makes them happy—not forcing them into what you think will make them happy.

Children are not extensions of parental ego or unfinished dreams. They are individuals with their own happiness, pace, and purpose. Guide them. Protect them. But do not cage them.
